About Me:: Hello everyone ...
A little background on my history with what I like to call it cancer "issue" is this: I was diagnosed back in Oct 2002 with breast cancer ... made a really difficult & at the same time easy decision to have a double mastectomy ... did the standard radiation & chemotherapy ... I actually had cancer in both breasts ... also, 14 of 20 lymph nodes had cancer ... which as we all know means that this could mean a very good chance that the cancer was starting to spread ... 18 months later ... some scans verified just that ... I now have been fighting spreading & remission on and off in both my liver & spine ... but I remain positive & spirited & will do so no matter what ... I like to say cancer ... you won't beat me ... I love life too much!!

I enjoy life to the fullest and now refuse to let opportunities pass me by. I spend time with my wonderful son who keeps me grounded ... he keeps me on my toes. I enjoy summertime activities especially the beach which is my favorite place to be ... I enjoy the wind in my face, the waves at my back and the sand between my toes ... walks along the beach give me time to reflect on life and what is important in my life. I travel more and look forward to my summer vacation to visit my best High School friend ... with my son at the beach ... life is good. My motto is ... live life now, love with all your heart, laugh all you want ... and dance like no one is watching. Hugs to all, ~Beth~

I like butterflies because they are free and beautiful!!

Has anyone else seen the movie "The Bucket List" ... what a great movie ... I've already started my own list of those important places I want to see or things I want to accomplish before my body leaves this world (but never my spirit) ... I'm hoping to go to either Florence or Tuscany Italy sometime in 2009 ... new cultures & experiences & memories ... life is so wonderful & exciting :0)

Hello everyone ... If you visit my profile you'll notice that I'm a 5 1/2 year breast cancer survivor ... I was diagnosed in Oct 2002. I'm posting the first of several blogs on heavy metals this morning. I have a bunch of them, turns out. Not good for the immune system that you need to fight cancer. Anyway, I've done some alternative treatments other than the chelation I'm doing now. It might give you some ideas and a bigger boot to kick canser ass! cheers, my friend!
